Hyundai Accent Racing
Hyundai fancy the latest Accent as a hot contender for the Focus and Astra buyer.
Coupled to a great warranty and breakdown cover, the Accent is not easy to ignore,
and in many respects it offers a desirable range of

virtues. Both 1.3 and 1.5 engines are easy going without being sporty, and the
rest of the driving experience backs that up.
The Accent is easy to drive, with very light power steering and clutch. The interiors
are plain and functional, with firm but comfortable front seats, with good space
and comfort in the rear. The suspension gives a comfortable ride and noise is
kept under control.
The revised Accent has more equipment than previously and a better choice of
engines. If you need a roomy car for little money, then the 1.3 versions are excellent
no-frills value; there's also a good 1.5-litre diesel option or a new 1.6 petrol
engine. The Accent will never be a car to set the pulse racing, but it does offer
unquestionably good value for your money.
