2002 Hyundai Accent
For 2002, all GL and GS models come with air conditioning as standard equipment.
This 2002 Hyundai Accent comes with a three-door sedan available in L and GS trim
levels. There?s also a GL four-door sedan. L models are powered by a 1.5-liter
sohc inline four-cylinder, rated 92 horsepower. But only a five-speed manual transmission
is available with this engine.
The 2002 Hyundai Accent WRC3 features a lighter chassis with increased suspension
travel to optimize handling. Revised aerodynamics makes the car more efficient,
reducing the drag and improving the aerodynamic stability. A front active differential
is the only change to the transmission, although this has been used for the first
two rounds of the season with positive results. The electronic mapping and the
boost control of the engine have been revised together with minor mechanical changes
to improve the drive ability and response.
